Who We Are

The name "Avad" (עָבַד) is drawn from the Hebrew Scriptures, meaning "to serve, to labor, to worship" — reflecting our identity as servants called to labor faithfully in God's vineyard.

Avad Christian Ministries Luuka International is a fully registered, Christ-centered non-profit ministry organization headquartered in Uganda. Founded with a burning passion to see the Gospel of Jesus Christ reach every corner of Africa, we operate at the intersection of evangelism, church planting, discipleship, and compassionate service.

Currently operating across Uganda with a special focus in the Luuka District and the Busoga sub-region, our mandate extends to the whole of East Africa and ultimately the entire African continent. We are registered and fully compliant with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), operating under Uganda's laws with transparency and accountability.

A Growing Network

From a single village fellowship to multiple planted congregations, regional outreach campaigns, and public baptism declarations on the Nile — we stand firm on God's promises.

Our Story

Avad Christian Ministries Luuka International was born out of a simple but powerful conviction: that the people of Uganda — and Africa — deserve to hear the undiluted Gospel of Jesus Christ. What began as a small fellowship of passionate believers in Luuka District has grown into a structured, legally registered ministry reaching thousands across Uganda.

From our first open-air crusade to our first planted church, from our first baptism service to our first community relief program, every step has been a testimony of God's faithfulness. Today, we carry that same fire — now with greater structure, greater reach, and greater faith — into all of Uganda and beyond.
